Frameless Glass Balustrades

 

 

 

It is a requirement of SANS 10160 that the safety glass of a balustrade within 500mm of the floor level must withstand an impact of 400J delivered by means of a 250mm diameter bag filled with dry sand to a mass of 30kg. Our products are tested to ensure that they conform to these standards.

We specialise in the full range of frameless balustrades. These include, but are not limited to, Channel Mount Balustrades, Bullet and Square Spigot Mount Balustrades as well as Glass Stand-Off Mounted Frameless Balustrades. Balustrades can be flange fixed or side-mounted. Glass thickness varies from 12 – 17mm. Various handrail configurations can be fitted to Frameless Balustrades.

We use only the best grade stainless steel components. Components are available in 304 grade as well as 316 grade stainless steel. All glass complies fully with SANS, SABS and SAGGA regulations.

Glass Stand-Off mount Frameless Balustrades is ideally suited to staircases, landings, decks and verandas. The stand- off mount can be secured to concrete or wood alike.

The Frameless Balustrade can be installed without a handrail, with a glass fixed handrail or as a conventional handrail in stainless steel, aluminium or wood.

Glass thickness can vary between 12mm – 17,52mm.

Sandblasting is available as an optional extra on the frameless balustrade.

Spigot Mount Frameless Balustrades is available in Bullet Spigots as well as Square Spigots. The Spigots are available in Core Fixed or Flange Fixed options. The Spigots are suitable for concrete as well as wooden surfaces.

The suitable glass thickness is 12mm – 15mmm. The glass is brilliantly polished all round.

Decorative Sandblasting as well as Corporate Branding is available on the glass panels.

Channel Mount Frameless Balustrades are mounted on floors or slabs. These Frameless Balustrades can be fitted with no handrails, glass fitted handrails or wood or aluminium, top-fitted handrails. The glass for the Frameless Balustrade can vary in thickness from 12mm to 17,52mm.

Patterns and Logo’s can be Sandblasted on the Frameless Panels prior to toughening.

Company Branding can be Sandblasted on the glass panels.
