Transparent burglar bars are manufactured from virtually indestructible Polycarbonate. The Polycarbonate is 250 times stronger than float glass. Polycarbonate has a tensile strength of 10 000 psi and a  tensile modulus of elasticity of 320 000 psi. Polycarbonate has a shear strength of 9 200 psi @ 73Deg F. The polycarbonate is transparent and does not obstruct your view. If you bought a property because of the view, Transparent burglar bars are the answer.

The transparent burglar bars can be fitted to wooden windows. The caps are available in white, bronze or grey. The installation will be done by our professionally trained installation team. Transparent Burglar Bars can be fitted to all types of windows i.e. top-hung, side-hung, sliding or sash windows.

For security purposes, polycarbonate protects much better against burglaries and vandalism because of it’s unbreakable properties. Compared to safety glass, polycarbonate is 250 times more resistant to impact.

With an impact strength 250 times that of float glass, and 30 times that of acrylic sheets, polycarbonate is nearly indestructible. Polycarbonate has excellent optical clarity suitable for a wide range of applications. Also provides light transmissions of up to 92%
